Gordon Robinson, MMR®

Gordy has been a member of the NMRA since 2013, but attended meets of his local Calder Northern NMRA division in his youth. Now resident in the Orkney Isles off the North Coast of Scotland, he is the Manager of NMRAx, Superintendent of his local division, member of the NMRA Social Media team and Region Media & Events Co-ordinator in the British Region.
Gordy works in Information Technology but has enjoyed a varied career including time in the Military and was a Hospital Manager in England for 8 years before relocating to Scotland in 2015. Gordy's father owned a model railroad business when he was younger so has been around and involved in fine scale modelling since a very young age.
Gordy describes his current model railroad interests as being varied with current layouts in O scale 2 Rail, HO and N Scales. Having moved to his new home in early 2020 construction of his large home N scale layout set-in South-Eastern Wisconsin is now underway.
